Common Questions

Do you also book airfare?

Yes! We do book airfare for our clients, but please see our travel guide for more details.

What documents do I need for international travel?

You typically need a valid passport for international travel, and in some cases, a visa. Make sure your passport is up-to-date and check the visa requirements for your destination.

Do I need a passport to take a cruise?

It depends on the cruise line and destination. However, the general rule is that you need a passport. If the cruise leaves and returns to the US out of the same port, you may only need your birth certificate, identification papers, and possibly marriage certificate.

When is the best time to book flights for the best fares?

Booking flights in advance, usually 6-8 weeks before your travel date, can help you find lower fares. However, it's also wise to monitor fare trends and be flexible with your travel dates to find the best deals.

What's the baggage allowance for my airline and class of service?

Baggage allowances vary by airline and class of service. Your best bet is to download the airlines app or visit their website to check their baggage limits.

Is travel insurance necessary, and what does it cover?

Travel insurance is highly recommended. It can cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and more. The coverage may vary, so discuss your needs with your travel agent to find the right policy. Many times, the travel insurance you want is not actually travel insurance but a travel protection membership like International LifeLine. The travel protection membership typically covers medical evacuation and repatriation, civil unrest and political evacuation, and kidnap and ransom resolution.

Do I need vaccinations or health precautions for my destination?

Some countries require specific vaccinations for entry. Ask us before you book! We always check the listings.
